LASER HAIR REMOVAL
Get to the root of unwanted hair with Clarity II Lutronic Technology
Unwanted hair is a common problem, for both men and women. Frequent hair removal chores including shaving, plucking, and waxing are time-consuming, inconvenient and often painful. At best, these frequently used methods offer only temporary results – for some only a few hours.
Free yourself from the constant need to shave and wax unwanted facial and body hair in order to look and feel your best. Laser technology has brought us a better, safe, long-lasting, way to remove unwanted hair from any part of the body, leaving skin feeling smooth and looking great.
HOW IT WORKS
During laser hair removal procedures, a laser device emits light energy that travels through the skin and is absorbed by the pigment in the hair follicle. The energy absorbed damages the pigmented hair follicle, which impairs its ability to grow. Hair follicles that are in the anagen, or active growth phase, have more pigment and absorb more energy, and typically respond best to treatments. For this reason, it takes multiple treatments to achieve the best results – it's important to “catch” your hair in this active growth stage when you are receiving treatments.
TECHNOLOGY WE USE
We are very excited to introduce the Clarity II Lutronic. This cutting-edge system is one of the only of its kind in Yorkton.
This dual wavelength laser system uses 755nm Alexandrite and 1,064nm ND-Yag wavelength for permanent hair reduction.

IntelliTrak technology: breakthrough intelligence for faster, more effective treatment.
Temperature sensing for real-time skin temperature feedback; optimizing patient comfort.
No more messy gel, this laser uses cryogen air cooling technology.
Exclusive shorter pulse widths for finer hair removal efficacy.
HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT:
Ensure that the area being treated is well shaved
Exfoliate the skin to prevent ingrowns and prepare for the treatment
Avoid waxing, plucking and sugaring at least 4 weeks prior to treatment
Sun exposure and tanning beds must be avoided at least 2 weeks before your appointment

WHY ARE MULTIPLE TREATMENTS NEEDED?Our hair naturally grows in 3 different stages. Anagen, Catagen and telogen. DOES LASER HAIR REMOVAL HELP WITH INGROWN HAIRS?Laser hair removal is the single best way to prevent ingrown hairs and provide relief from the itching, pain, and irritation that ingrown hairs can cause. Laser hair removal destroys the hair follicle, preventing further hair growth literally getting rid of the ‘root’ of the ingrown hair problem.
